How should I be transcribing these films and videos?

For Chinese dialects/Mandarin recordings, please transcribe in Simplified Chinese only.

If you are transcribing an interview, indicate clearly if the interviewer or interviewee is speaking. Likewise, if you are transcribing dialogue, indicate clearly which person/character is speaking.

If you are unsure of a word, don't worry! Put them in square brackets [like this]. Other contributors can add on to your transcription and improve it further. This is the beauty of crowdsourcing - every contribution helps!
