We invite you to be part of the community effort to preserve the sounds of Singapore. You can record a sound bite from your daily lives or sounds that you think represent Singapore’s unique sonic heritage. Selected sounds contributed will be documented and integrated into a Sound Map and preserved for future generations.
Ambisonic 360 is a collection of hi-fidelity audio recordings created by a team of audio-visual professionals led by Dr Marcus Tan, consultant for the SoundscapeSG project. Recorded with ambisonic microphones capable of capturing a full-sphere surround - coverin sound sources above and below the listener on top of the horizontal plane - and a 360 video camera, re-experience familiar spaces of Singapore through your screens and headphones.
